Abigail Spencer
Abigail Leigh Spencer (born August 4th, 1981) is an American actor. Her most famous work is her roles in the films Cowboys & Aliens The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful It Is Where I Leave You and the TV seriesAngela's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne & Suits. Her current role is Amantha in Rectify, a Sundance Channel series. Abigail Leigh Spencer is an American actress who works in the television industry as well as films. Her roles in both the drama series Rectify as well as the sci-fi series Timeless made her a star. A native of Gulf Breeze, she began her career as a soap star in the show All My Children. Her character in the soap opera All My Children won her an award from the soap Opera Digest for Best Female Newcomer. She mostly played in character roles as a guest over the course of many years. The most well-known was her portrayal of her character, Dr. Erin Jameson, in the show Hawthorne. Her beautiful appearance and extraordinary acting talents helped her to build a loyal fan base. In the movie Campfire Stones, she played an important role in it in the film at age 20. Jekyll This Means War & Chasing Mavericks were a couple of her other movies. The role she played in Beautiful Now was recognized with a Madrid International Film Festival Award. Her most recent work in TV has been in the leading part of the professor of history Lucy Preston in the sci-fi TV show Timeless. Spencer is nominated to win the Teen Choice Award after her performance in the series was highly praised by the viewers and critics.
